GenDOTsolar instals the Huawei LUNA2000-200KWH-2H1 in the Benelux. This energy storage system helps business owners of solar panels to increase the efficiency of their installation. The energy storage system is equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells, has a power of 100 kilowatts and a storage capacity of 200 kilowatt hours per unit.
The LUNA2000-200KWH-2H1 is made up of 12 battery packs with a weight of 140 kilograms and a storage capacity of 16,13 kilowatt hours each. The smart rack controller – with a protection class of IP66 – ensures maximum efficiency of more than 98,5 percent.
Furthermore, the energy storage system has a built-in battery optimizer, and the pack level optimizer prevents the 'short barrel' effect from occurring. The ability to charge and discharge the battery packs independently of each other increases the efficiency of the energy storage system. The charging and discharging capacity can be adjusted as required.
The energy storage system is supplied with the Smart PCS battery inverter LUNA2000-100KTL-M1, which is equipped with Smart Air Cooling.
The multiple active safety protection of the LUNA2000-200KWH-2H1 issues a pre-warning in the event of a thermal runaway. In addition, the energy storage system is equipped with various sensors - for CO, water leakage and open doors - and a fire extinguishing module that extinguishes a possible fire in 10 seconds.
